Biography

For nearly 25 years, Nitesh Patel has proudly called La Palma home, where he and his wife have raised their two daughters. His commitment to public service is rooted in the same values that guide his family life—integrity, compassion, hard work, and a genuine dedication to serving his neighbors and strengthening the community.

Nitesh Patel is a successful entrepreneur, real estate developer, and public servant in Orange County, California. He serves as a La Palma City Council Member and Vice Chair of the Orange County Fire Authority Board of Directors, where he is committed to strengthening public safety, responsible fiscal stewardship, and regional collaboration.

While building successful businesses and supporting his family, Nitesh earned his Juris Doctor from Abraham Lincoln Law School and an LL.M. in International and Domestic Tax from Thomas Jefferson School of Law.

As President of Mitchell General Contractor, Inc., Nitesh leads commercial and residential construction projects throughout the western United States, including nationally recognized brands such as Starbucks, Chipotle, and Chick-fil-A. As a real estate developer, he has also built a diverse portfolio of multifamily and commercial investment properties.

Dedicated to serving others, Nitesh founded Each One Teach One (EOTO), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, in 2008 and continues to serve as its Executive Director. Through EOTO, he has helped provide education, food, medical supplies, shoes, backpacks, and other essential resources to more than 30,000 underserved families both locally and around the world.
